We are seeking a Research Team Lead to join our large and thriving research department. 

In this pivotal and influential role you will spearhead one of our exceptional research teams, collaborating on the development of innovative solutions, from concept to implementation, and contributing to the next big revolution in the computing landscape.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or strong master’s degree in computer science
  • 3+ years of experience as a team leader in a technology company or startup
  • Ability to expertly manage projects using Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with team building and employee growth programs
  • Proven research skills
  • Excellent software development capabilities
  • Familiarity with programming languages and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with graph theory, code analysis, LLVM infrastructure, algebraic graph theory: an advantage 
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

  • Head one of our research teams, overseeing day-to-day tasks, setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and tackling other emerging challenges
  • Lead collaborations with cross-functional teams
  • Set expectations with software, architecture, and hardware stakeholders
  • Act as a technical leader when design directions are unclear
  • Conduct experiments and research in innovative directions in computing and mathematics
  • Work on mathematical computations and algorithms
  • Explore innovative directions in graph theory, clustering, and their applications in developing a pioneering architecture for a general-purpose coprocessor
  • Analyze data and apply machine learning techniques
  • Contribute to technical blogs and scientific publications
  • Strengthen and grow the team by hiring and retaining top research engineer talent
